Julian founded Dust Till Dawn Cleaning and runs it. He is still involved in the work itself and still across the detail of how each clean is done, and every cleaner who joins is held to the standard he set.
Employing the team is what makes that possible. A subcontractor is a stranger with a mop and their own way of working. An employee has been through our hiring, our training and our sign-off, and is accountable to us for the work in your home.

Trained to a written standard
New cleaners work through training material before they are any use to anybody, then shadow experienced cleaners in real homes, which is the part that transfers the standard. Nobody works alone until they have been signed off.
After that the work does not run on memory. Every clean follows the same written checklist, in every home, on every visit, top to bottom. It is why a clean by one of our cleaners looks like a clean by any of the others, and why a recurring client gets the same cleaner each time: a cleaner who knows the home does a better job in the same hours.
Looking after the people who clean your home
Cleaning is hard on a body. Ask anyone looking for a new cleaner why they are looking, and the answer is often that their last one had to stop. It is an industry with a real problem: back injuries, joint damage, and years of exposure to harsh chemicals.
We are not willing to build a business on that. The products we use are environmentally friendly, low-tox, septic safe and safe around children and pets, which matters for your home and matters just as much for the person spending eight hours a day around them. We train for technique, not just for results, and we build rounds that are physically sustainable.
The practical version for you: your cleaner is more likely to still be your cleaner in three years.
