Cleaning Technician
Residential & Commercial · Mount Barker & Adelaide Hills · Casual
What You'll Do
- Deliver residential whole-home cleans to The DTD Full-Home Standard
- Service commercial workplaces — offices, medical practices and retail
- Follow documented cleaning checklists on every job
- Use eco-friendly, low-toxicity products supplied by DTD
- Represent Dust Till Dawn professionally on every site
What We're Looking For
- Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence
- Willingness to obtain a police check prior to starting
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Punctual, professional and consistent
- Physical fitness — cleaning is active work
- Prior experience welcome but not required — we train

Our Hiring Process — Four Stages
We take hiring seriously. Every person who joins the DTD team goes through the same four-stage process — because the right people make all the difference.

Zoom Screen
Shortlisted candidates are invited to a brief 20–30 minute video call. This isn't a formal interview — it's a conversation. We want to hear how you communicate and what matters to you in a job.
Paid Trial Shift
If the Zoom call goes well, we'll invite you for a paid trial shift on a real job alongside an experienced cleaner. You'll be assessed on work ethic, attention to detail, and how you handle feedback. You're paid for this shift regardless of the outcome.
Offer
If the trial goes well, we'll make an offer the same day or next day. Before your first official shift, you'll complete your police check, sign your employment contract, and receive your DTD uniform and full induction training.
Attitude is our primary criterion at every stage. We can train technique. We can't train the willingness to do the job properly.

Cleaning Technician
The foundation role. Residential and commercial cleaning to The DTD Standard. Where every DTD team member starts.
Senior Cleaner / Lead Technician
Earned through consistency and trust. Senior team members support quality control, assist with new starters, and take responsibility for on-site standards.
Operations & Support
As DTD grows, experienced team members may move into scheduling, training, quality assurance or operational support roles. Built intentionally — not promised prematurely.
